As such, we are excited to form a board of members to advise and help grow this up-and-coming group. Pop Warner 2025 FOOTBALL AGES & WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Player's age cut- off date........July 31, 2025. ( Your athlete age on July 31st is their league age )
Players will need to provide the following:

Copy of their birth certificate * Sports Physical Dated 2024 ( sports physicals remain active for 18 months, so check the date) * Report card for 2024-2025 school year with a 2.0 minimum GPA with all 4 Quarters provided.

All players must be certified by September 9th 2025

* Cadets: Ball Carrier MAX Weight of 185 lbs weekly weight allowance will not be permited, BC's must remain 185 for season (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Weight: All weight allowances are with out Pads additional pad weight is allowed after certification.

Our Mission

Our Mission @ the Matsu 49ers organization is to provide a fun learning environment for youth.

We believe football teaches the value of Team work, resilience, hard work, integrity, and commitment, while emphasizing the importance of academic success and overcoming adversity.

Pop Warner is a scholastic driven football program, which is one of the big differences from other leagues. You must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better to be eligible to play. There are local, state, and national awards as well as scholastic monies available for the honor students and recognition awards for 3.0 and above. We at Pop Warner believe that you must be a student athlete and maintain good grades to better your future.

Between 6-9 pm Head coach's will set time's for practice.

Practice Monday - Thursday 6-8:30

Friday July 18th Gear hand out for those who completed their 1st 10 hours of condition.

Pop Warner Rule:

BEFORE LABOR DAY:

After Labor Day....

Final practice schedule will be determined by the Head Coach
